How do I embed videos / links?

The mods always do it for me, but how do I do it myself? For instance, YouTube videos.

You need to place the YouTube video ID in between the opening and closing youtube tag.

I'm going to use the word "video" here as an example but that word should be "youtube" I'm using it because when I try to give a proper example it just pulls a blank video square.

For this video, the youtube ID is everything after the equal sign:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IytNBm8WA1c

So you take that part "IytNBm8WA1c" and place it between the tags, but remember in a real example the word in the tag should be "youtube"

[video]IytNBm8WA1c[/video]

If done as above using the word youtube it looks like this:
