Default FUE in Los Angeles

Hi all,

I'm researching surgeons and would really like to go on recommendation. I have take a look at my local IAHRS surgeons (factoring in San Diego too) in Los Angeles.

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations of the following doctors:for FUE: pre-post pics would be great. I'm reluctant to go purely on the various website testimonials.

Marc Dauer
Paul J Mc.Andrews ($100 initial consult)
Timothy carman
James DeYarman
William Reed
Brandon Ross
Paul Strauss
Craig L Ziering

Rule #1 .... don't choose a surgeon based on location. For the better FUE Docs you may need to travel.

Rule #2 .... see rule 1

I also recommend that you broaden your search. It appears that you were charged $100 for the consultation?

I personally would prefer to pay for a doctor’s time than to have a “free no obligation” consultation that seems to be the norm for hair transplant clinics. To me it kind of cheapens the experience and makes it seem very salesy. I think any professional worth his salt should charge for a thorough evaluation, but most HT doctors do not charge for consultations. With that said, the only doctor that you listed that seems to do FUE on a regular basis is Dr. Ziering who uses the artas robot. You should speak with a couple of his patients who had it done. Otherwise there is Dr. Waserbauer in Northern California and if you want to travel further there is always Cole in Atlanta, all fue experts.

There are plenty of docs "worth their salt" that do not charge for consults, nor are they high pressure or "salesy". Consults are a part of the overall process. Talented ethical docs let their top notch results speak for themselves.
