The shedding is caused by over using Ketoconazole. Since Regenpure claims to have Ketoconazole in it, Regenpure can cause shedding as well if it is over used.

Another very important detail is the fact that Regenpure does not tell you how much Ketoconazole is in it. We do know that it cannot be more than 1% because a script would be needed to sell it in the U.S. if it has more than 1% in it.

I use Nizoral A-D, which is 1% Ketoconazole. I don't have troubles with it - and it is a lot less expensive than Regenpure. Yes it has sulfates in it - but I don't use it more than twice per week so my exposure to sulfates is insignificant.

Regenpure is not higher quality than Nizoral. It's just different - and a lot more expensive. The very high price of Regenpure can only be justified if a person is allergic to the other ingredients in Nizoral.
