That said, if you really look closely at the recipient area, all that was done was a temple closure at the existing hairline level. The hairline was not lowered at all. Not that it couldn't have been. it just wasn't.
Just like other plastic surgeries aren't only for ugly people anymore, HT are not just for bald people. This is finesse work and totally brought this hairline to the next level.

You are right about temple closures being more cosmetic to take your hairline to the next level. That is what I want.
I just need a good surgeon to get the kind of density seen in Rahal's patient photos. But it's hard to tell how much of it is lighting, angles, and them just being his "best".

Ask? And let us know what you find out. I have wondered about whether the results are cherry-picked, but you could accuse every doctor of this, and Dr Rahal has a big portfolio of decent work.

Alright, I might send him an e-mail tomorrow when it isn't so late (or early).
I am still toying with the idea of blowing a lot of money to go with the best for my hairline, since that is the most important part. Everything after that can be from mainland Europe, but Rahal really does seem to do the best hairlines of them all.

Yes, it looks good now.
Give him 10 or 15 yrs , after he procedes to lose more hair, he'll will need another HT

While the young man in the picture probably didn't really need a HT at that stage I will say that Dr. Rahal won't mindlessly spunk grafts into the hairline without enough donor for norwood 6 land.
I know what you mean though, this young man is committed now. He'll definitely need more HTs over time and this is probably the best his hair will ever look.

You guys are touching on my main concern too. I sometimes get the impression from Spencer that there's a lot of variability with HTs; it might be down to patient physiology, I don't really know.

Somebody needs to do a study on this forum. All the bald people and non-fin users are so irrationally anti-HT and stuff. It's like they secretly want everyone else to go bald so they don't suffer alone.

lol....you need to have had a HT to understand

All valid concerns. Let's put these forward and share what we learn.

How many were mistakes though? I.e. bad operations performed by poor doctors.
We get enough pessimism around this website.
