Do they serve Finasteride in Gaol?
I've been reading a lot about the Norway massacre lately, and obviously ABB has some hair loss. Which got me thinking about non-essential medication and prisoners. Basically, if a person was being charged with a crime, or has been sent to prison, do you think they would be allowed to keep taking Finasteride in your country? Moreover, do you think the media would find out about it?
I can see it now, I manage to avoid parking infractions for years. Suddenly I'm arrested and I tell them that whilst I'm being held up for court that I need Finasteride to avoid "the Shed" which I would no doubt claim could affect the Trial based on the trauma I would suffer from all my hair falling out. Then the media would get onto it, and I become the laughing stock of Parking Bandits. Or what if they denied me it, and I go bald while waiting to prove my innocence. Or maybe I can only get it before I am charged, and then once I'm charged I'm limited to essential meds only? Then going bald would be like my second punishment!
I know this is borderline off-topic, but it was just an interesting thought I had.
