Dr. Keller/Chicago/Camouflaging of Hairline After Artificial Hair Transplant.
Approx. 1,010 grafts were utilized to repair frontal framework from scars created from removal of artificial hair. Artificial hair is no longer allowed in the U.S. because of a 50% infection rate. This patient had multiple procedures, work done elsewhere, which included 3 scalp reductions and 3 plug procedures. Due to the limited donor hair and laxity only 1,010 grafts were harvested. The patient's overall appearance was greatly improved. Photos shown were taken pre-op and 14 months post-op.
