It is pretty rare but that is exactly what is going on in my family. My brothers, my sister and I are all suffereing with hereditary hair loss - as are my cousins (both male and female) on my mother's side. The guys in our family are obviously much worse off than the girls. Anyways, since my mother and her sisters have gone bald, it is obvious that this is hereditary for my family - and it is obviously comming from my mother's side.

I am not sure if Jaydaime's problem is hereditary hair loss. He needs to see a specialist.

I am sorry for your family and I know that must be very hard to deal with. That is a very rare- I think it requires 2 X chromosomes. Well at least you have some company. Mine is mothers side as well and I have a large family on that side cousin wise, but they are all girls.
