spiro and lichen planopilaris

Are there any links to spiro and lichen planopilaris? Spiro has really helped my hair since starting. Although, the hair on the top/front of my head keeps starting to grow and then the cycle gets interrupted to then start again. It never grows beyond an inch it seems. The rest of the hair has thickened up.
My derm diagnosed me with Lichen planopilaris, although the biopsy did not confirm it. My scalp definitely gets better with a topical steroid.
