My story, early in the journey, still hope but getting worse.
Hello. I came to the forum via the Podcast.
I have a family history but had zero thinning or loss for 39 years. At 39 I had some thyroid issues diagnosed, and sixth months later a massive shed. I have long black wavy hair and the loss was of thick healthy hair 6-10 inches.
I panicked. The doctors claimed it was TE and I did nothing for a year. I shed steadily but the hairline was solid just a gradual diffusing. I had a biopsy and they said very early MPB.
I started oral minoxidil after a year and triggered a major shed that lasted four months. I continued until June when I tried RU. 6 months using RU and I got much worse, added topical Finasteride two months ago, dropped RU and also started .5 Propecia E.
My hair is worse than ever. Doctors don't understand the shedding. I feel like anything I try makes it worse. Looking for any advice.
