Default Hair curving the wrong way after transplant

I'm not sure if this issue has been addressed by this community, or if anybody really has been looking into it, but I seem to have a hair curvature mismatch. Let me explain.

I had a hair transplant about 4 years ago, and another one about 1.5 years back to try to correct this issue I am addressing today.

I have been struggling massively with my left temple. The doctor has told me a few times that the density is similar to that of the surrounding hair, and the hair has the same angle as well.

However, it just does not grow in the same pattern. It seems to grow the opposite way.

After a lot of studying, I found out that there is another aspect to hair transplants that I unfortunately feel my doctor has neglected, hair curvature. The hair simply curves outward, away from my head, whereas the native hair behind my temple curves inward toward my head.

After looking at the following photo, I am wondering if there is any way this problem could be fixed. You can see that it is a fairly small area, but definitely noticeable.

Here is a link, that will show exactly what I am talking about:

This is of course, right after I get out of the shower. It takes an inordinate amount of hair product to force my hair to go back in the direction of the native hair, it seems crazy to have to spend 10-15 minutes forcing this one small patch of hair down every morning. And to be honest -- I am sick of it, it always curves back up halfway through the day.
