Is Donor Area Shock Loss Common?
As some of you may know - I did 400 FUE this past November...
And I have experienced donor shock loss. I have about 3 to 4 bald spots that are about the size of a quarter.

I went to the doctor who did the surgery and he said it grow back.

But to be on the safe side - How often does this even happen? From what I see - donor shock loss is not a common thing. And I will want to take action now to get this sort out.

In my experience shock loss is not common in the donor area following hair transplantation. However, it does happen occationally and possibly a little more likely after FUE compared to FUT. It should be temporary. I have heard of a few cases where FUE triggered a few patches of Alpoecia Areata to occur. This is also a temporary condition that I have treated with mild steroid injections to stimulate quicker hair regrowth.
