    Anterior Mid Scalp Finasteride
I am 22 years old. I have been on Propecia for 7 months now without missing a day.

When I started the drug I had noticed that my hairline was receding and getting thinner. However after being on the drug it seems like my hairline has gotten thinner along with the area behind my hairline in the anterior mid scalp. I plucked a hair out of my donor area to compare to one from the front and the thickness did not seem too different. However it is almost as if I have rows of scalp (almost multiple hair parts).

I am curious if this sounds like it is just a shed from the fin or if it sounds like my hair loss if just progressing. Is there any way to differentiate hair that is regrowing/stabilizing to hair that is miniaturizing.

Thanks a lot for the help!

pictures would help people respond, also would help you track your hair progress/regress. it sounds to me like your mpb is progressing, but hard to tell without pics...dont give up on the fin either way...you need longer than 7 months to see if its working

if your hair truly is the same thickness in the front and back it might be a shed. have you noticed increase in shedding?
