Possible link to balding for some.. Fungus.
If you have been trying regenepure out to combat shedding how has it been working out? and how long you been using it?

I have no history of baldness in my family, 24 years old so I decided to try this stuff out since it has ketoconazole in it. Maybe I have fungus on my scalp because it's evident on the back of my neck. Due to my skin colour you can see it, often you can't. This type of fungus everybody can get and it can be treated with a prescripted 2% ketoconazole cream to rub over the area. Maybe if ketoconazole is shown to combat hair shedding (possibly blocking dht) it could be due to those having fungus on the scalp as well. That could be the link for me.. hopefully. I just started regenepure a week ago. The fungus won't go away over night neither, sometimes weeks or couple months depending how bad it is and climate. Heat stimulates it and cold slows it down.

I would like to know how those using Regenepure or even Nizoral which has ketoconazole in it has been making out with hair regeneration? Also how long have you been using it, thanks!

You're referring to a fungal infection called tinia versicolor. It is caused by a fungus that lives on all people but for some reason on certain people it grows greatly. It generally never goes beyond the neck line though.

You can take oral anti-fungals that get rid of it really quick.

I had it '96 to '98 and took something and then started developing it again in 2004 and again took something in 2008 before going to Jamaica. I'm half expecting it to come back again but we'll see.

Nevertheless, you may be on to something, though fungal infections don't tend to have patterns, so if you've got a typical pattern going and not randomized patches that are thinner...its likely not fungal. Plus it would hide the sides of your head and back also, not just the top.

True. Doctor told me I didnt have that though.. maybe I do. Based on the article I do seem to show little signs. Neither way, hoping regenepure does something for me, seems like a great product. I get the feeling the shedding has increased but maybe its just the product going to work. Thanks for answering.
