The affect of zinc on hairloss
I have recently purchased a jar of high strength chelated zinc (15mg tablets). I have read in some places that this is bad for hairloss, others that its good. Some said that too much is bad, too little is bad.

I note that zinc is mentioned alot on this site. Does anyone know whether 15mg a day is good or bad for hairloss? If so do you have any scientific papers to back up your claims?

You can get a normal level of zinc in your diet without thinking about it. Fresh food always containst zinc. Zinc is key in hairloss but you also lose quite a bit of it during ejaculation so it also depends how much you ejaculate. Working out and building mucle requires zinc as well. 15 will in no way be too much zinc per day it may be too little depending on the two variables listed above.
