Let me chime in and say a big THANK YOU to Spencer and Dave.

I also felt like I was alone with my feelings and you helped me to see that other people feel exactly like me.

    This is great.

    Thanks TeeJay and Jkel!

Jkel, thanks for remembering Dave. The show wouldn't be the same without him. He contributes more than he realizes.

    Dave if you're reading this don't expect a raise:rolleyes:

Hey Payday, what do you mean? I still need help with the ladies. I need all the help I can get :) Actually I'm here to announce that I have a new girlfriend and her name is AlopecianMuse:D ...just kidding:) But seriously, thanks for all you kind words ms. muse. I really appreicate it. We still have to have a glass of wine together--in a platonic way of course.

Wine sounds great Dave, just don't be playing that music of yours! I don't need to be thrown into your spell! Maybe I should bring my husband along just in case!

    Don't be jealous TeeJay!

I'm sure if you post a video giving your unique take on Newton's First Law of Motion, or perhaps explaining the difference between distance and displacement you'll have all the girls drooling:)

Alrite Spencer! You asked for it man! (Hope this doesn't put anyone to sleep, and if any chicks happen to drool from it, please send me a message, we may have a future together :-)).

Newton's First Law of Motion states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by external, unbalanced forces. One can think of this in the context of hair. Hair continues to grow, with roughly the same physiological speed (about 1/4 inch per month) and in roughly the same hair-to-scalp angular direction (forward in the front of the scalp and downward in the rear of the scalp), until and unless the hair is disturbed by and acted upon by external, unbalanced forces. In the case of hair, and specifically male pattern baldness, these external forces are testoserone, alpha-5 reductase, and the devil himself, DHT. DHT, on its own, is an unbalanced force of physiology that will miniaturize and even kill the hair follicles. So how do we restore Newton's First Law of Motion for hair? You betcha -- Propecia! Propecia recreates the physiological balance of forces inside of us that keeps the hair follicle and its output (hair) in motion.

Okay, I'm sitting here trying to think of a 2nd clever analogy for explaining hair and hair loss in the context of distance and displacement, but I'm not having any luck, and I don't want to get too stressed, because I may start to pull my hair out, and I kinda need that :-)

PayDay -- thanks man!! Spencer and Dave rock. How long have you been a fan of the show? Have you ever called in?

    Hello TeeJay,
I've been listening since January 2002. Spencer had just moved to LA and I remember him talking about how he escaped his apartment on 9/11. I used to listen on 102.7 Fm here in New York. I have Sirius in my car so I watch the show on the internet
If it were not for the bald truth I don't know where I would be now. Spencer and Dave helped me deal with my life. I owe so much to them.
I called in once about four years ago.
