    This shows a person's hair regrowth after finishing a course of chemo.

    Looking at the pictures I couldn't help but think "with the right treatment, *that* could be us" (well, except maybe the bottom row -- the person is clearly female).

    Obviously cancer is far worse than MPB, but this picture illustrates better than any other I've seen the hope that I have for these "cutting-edge / future" treatments.

    Someday brothers...

    Its nice to dream, but the way in which chemo functions to cause hair loss is radically unrelated to how MPB causes hair loss and what it does to the follicle - essentially squeezing the life out of it, similar to what a constrictor snake does to its prey.

    Yes eventually the prey stops breathing and I suppose it could be possible to 'breathe' life back into it and that's the trick isn't it.
