Hello, I was recently diagnosed with mild Alopecia Areata. I had gone to the Derm cause I felt my hair was feeling a bit thin and I was losing 30-40 hairs a day. She did a scalp biopsy and AA is what it concluded. After the diagnosis, she gave a couple shots on the top of my head of steroids. That was a little over a week ago and since then my shedding has doubled. Is this normal? I never shed that much before I got the shots.
