I read about Donor scar repair all the time, but never about the type of scarring I have. I currently shave at a 2 and show a little of the open donor/harvesting look that is shown in the link below. I would love to shave it all off, get the scars lasered off if possible but can't really find much info on this. Just thought I would ask to see what you thought. My goal is to be bald with minimal scarring if possible. The procedure I had done was 13 years ago. Thanks for you time.

Hey just turned 20 and im losing frontal hair. im on minox and lasercomb, but i really really want to start propecia, but im absolutely terrified of the stuff. Particularly because of potential PERMANENT sexual sides!!!

How is it so many of you are on it with this albeit very small chance?

Do you lot think that if i started using it once a week and monitored sides this will cut the chance of permanent damage?

If i did decide to do this should i get a pre treatment blood work to act as a control so if anything went wrong it would be visible?

I am 21 and I am thinning pretty fast. I just had a visit with my Doctor today, but it was very quick and was just a follow-up from the blood test. I didn't get a chance to talk to him about Propecia/Proscar and my next visit isn't for a whole 12 months! I feel I am just going to lose more hair by then and I want to get proactive about this FAST. What would you recommend? I noticed on the Propecia website they have a doctor in Tampa that offers free consultation visits for MPB. Would I be able to get a prescription from him for no charge? Will I need any insurance information if the visit is free? I don't have my insurance card because my parents do I am still embarrassed to bring up the topic of me going bald with them. Hey doc, I was wondering if you could give me at least 10 mins of your time? Both my brothers went bald at an early age like myself? Their hairline started to go back at the age of 17 and eventually they were pretty much bald by 20. I have a father with a big widows peak, but with thick, black hair, you can't even notice his widows peak because he has a full head of hair, but my grandad went bald at a very early age also. My hairline has been going back over the years but it's been very gradual. It started to go back at about 15. I'm almost 18 now and I would say it's gone back at least an inch. Both my brothers always say to me that they think I will end up with my fathers hairline for some reason? Could throw any kind of light my way Doc? Thanks for your time.
