- I had four of the early, crude hair transplant procedures in the late 70's. The surgeries left my donor area looking thin and unnatural. I consulted with Dr. Cole in 2006 and was encouraged to learn that he could use non-scalp hair to repair my legacy transplant work. I'm now happy with my hairline and as of 2013, I'm having the shotgun scars repaired on the back and sides of my head.
