Hi Dr Pistone,
I am writing to you in response to a post you had made on Technical Hairs. This sounds exactly what I am looking for. I have had 3 HTs in the past, although my hair is still fairly thin. This option to thicken the existing hairs sounds perfect. You have mentioned in this post also that your colleague trained in Germany for this procedure, could you please inform me of where in Europe this procedure is carried out. I am based in the UK so it is obviously not viable to travel to the US for this. I had been looking into Biofibre artificial hairs before I came across your post, but the procedure you have described sounds much more appealing. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my enquiry and look forward to your response.
Hi Dr. Pistone, I was wondering how long after surgery I should wait before going back to using Rogaine. I use the foam and I've read that in some people it can actually help the hair grow faster. I'm also on propecia. I also just got one of those laser combs recently but I'm hearing mixed reviews. Do you have any thoughts on it? Should I wait a while after post op before using it? Thanks for everything
Dr Pistone - you mentioned in a post that some methods of attaching a non-surgical system could cause "scarring alopecia." Could you let me know which types of attachment I should avoid?
I was reading your post about the strand by strand addition of hair. I live in the U.S., Michigan. Do you have any recommendations for this where I am located?
Do you know of any doctors in Houston, Texas that can help me? I need a diagnosis and have been to two dermatologists who dismissed me after five minutes and told me to use Rogaine. I suffer from trichtodynia (sp) along with my hair loss and my primary card doctor is stumped. I don't know where or who to turn to. I would greatly appreciate a name of a doctor I can trust and who will take the time to explore my problem.
Hi Dr. Pistone, I was wondering if there is anything I can do for Telogen Effluvium. I've had it now for 4 years and my hair is VERY thin! I don't think this procedure would work for me because of how much hair I lose a day (around 200-300 per day). Is there anything I can do for TE??
