Been following your posts for a while and I'm really interested in what you're saying. I'm 22 and over the past 2 years I have really noticed the front of my hair receding. I wear my hair to the side so I can cover up but it's really getting me down as I can see it getting worse. I want to start taking propecia and minoxidil. I went for a free consultation at the Belgravia centre in London and I also have been told about the boots hair retention programme (which I understand are both costly)
Where do you recommend I get both propecia and minoxidil from? Do I need to bother with the latter for now? I have been told to try propecia first.

Sorry for all the questions just really need some advice on all solutions before I make a decision.

Spex, I just tried to put Minox in my hair (foam) with the 'Hair so real' still in it and it was a big mess, I guess I have to wash it out everyday?

Spex, I saw the documentary link to which was posted. I must say, I never realized the gravity of the situation as to how much you and JoT, have made an impact for hair loss sufferers. I'm certain it is must be no easy task juggling your own personal commitments and simultaneously helping other individuals. Truly remarkable. I'm sure you get messages like these all the time, but one more certainly doesn't hurt. Keep up the good work. I hope that the individual who made "Supersize Me" actually decides to go through and make a documentary providing the general public knowledge about hair loss.

Those treatments along with finasteride's main objective is to stop further loss. Only if you are a great responder to them will you regrow any hair. Everyone is different and responds differently.
