    Hi Tracy,

In a post you made mention of aramatose to combat the conversion of excess T into estrogren once DHTs are blocked. Is this viable for hair loss? I've done a little bit of digging myself, and my findings are completely and utterly polar antagonists. Some say it works great, and others say it actually promotes balding due to a string of chemical reactions that made my brain hurt reading.

I'm not really considering the addition of aromatose to the fin regime I will be beginning because 1.) I'm sure it isn't cheap, 2.) the science is unclear to me, 3.) it's not standard practice by medical professional, so it must not be too sound of an option.

I guess I'm just asking for general elaboration on what you think the physiological impact is of adding aramatose to a DHT blocking regime.

Kind regards, and thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

    Hi Tracey,

I have noticed a lot of posts by you when i have researching Nizoral. Firstly i would like to say thankyou for your posts they have been very helpful and are very much appreciated. I have been foolish enough to have been using alpecin daily for the past two years but am now going to get rid of it and use Nizoral.

I am from the UK and I was wondering if you coud reccomend a good sulfate free shampoo and a sufate free conditioner to use.

    Thankyou Tracy

I’v just done some research on spironolactone, is it approved for the treatment of female pattern hair loss?
Whilst I am interested in it for its androgen receptor–blocking abilities, the side-affects sound a little risky…(causing abnormalities in the genitalia of the male fetus, depression, fatigue, weight gain, loss of libido, postural hypotension, electrolyte disturbances, menstrual irregularities, urticaria, breast tenderness, and hematological disturbances). =O

I’m using my last bottle of Belgravia’s minixidol twice a day atm, would you still suggest me to taper up my daily dose of the rogain when I start using it or just go into using it twice a day?
I hope im not bothering you with all my Q’s =)

This is very helpful, thank you =)
I have just brought 3 months Men's Rogaine (Regaine) Foam 5% from minixidol-direct
I am certainly going to get myself some sulphate free shampoo and conditioner. I think my itchy scalp was related to me putting a much too big dollop of nizarol on my scalp and using a conditioner that has sulphate in it.
Do you know where can I go to see what is triggering my hair-loss?
Thank you for helping me out, as a women, its heart breaking to lose hair =(

    Hey Tracey!
Im particularly interested in your advice as you are a female (I’m a 23 female)
I suffer from female hereditary hair-loss.
I am a patient of the Belgravia Centre &they have put me on 4% minx plus MPG. It does seem to be working, but the medication is very expensive. Im looking to start getting my minx from Minixidol-direct, I will use the 5%miinx for men.
My concern is that the Kirkland Minxidol won’t have as much success as the Belgravia solution because is dosnt use a DHT blocker (MPG).
I recently started using Nizarol, as I read that it is a DHT blocker, and reduced itchiness. However after only two applications my head is significantly itchier than before! Im concerned I might be causing inflammation on my scalp with the use of Nizarol and Minx which will subsequently cause my hair to fall out more
Should I continue using Nizarol? Will using it aid my hair loss significantly or will using the Kirkland alone suffice?
    I appreciate your help

Hi Tracy, im 19 and new to this forum and im looking for some advice. My hair has thinned out quite alot over the past year, i have been using rogaine for 3 months and can see light hairs growing at my temples. Does that mean it will work for my crown etc too? Do you think the best way for me to track my progress would be taking pictures under a bright light when my hairs wet?

    Thanks, dan.

    Biography
I am currently entering my late 40's. I started losing my hair sometime in my late 20's or early 30's. It's kind of fuzzy now because hair loss sent me into deep depression that lasted a really long time. I've had two hair transplant procedures performed by a wonderful doctor who has done an excellent job so far.
