I have no clue, Dr. Cole is seriously difficult to get a hold of. I did the virtual consultation along with a contact form and got very little back, I just want to talk to the man for 20 minutes whenever he has the chance so I can explain to him what I'm thinking about plus I'd have to get some kind of discount because currently I can't really afford anything too pricey.
Not sure if Dr. Cole is going to respond to me, I emailed him through his website but it may be a longshot. I'd be willing to fly to Atlanta have a CIT procedure done and then come back to let him evaluate regrowth in the donor and I'd let him try some plucked hairs as well to compare and contrast the grafts if he was willing but I'm really not sure he would do it for me.
I can start saving but those procedures are typically really expensive and by no means am I rich working in public schools, so it might take me a while. Should I try to make a deal with him or something? Like say I'd provide picture evidence of my donor and recipient area for his website for evidence on CIT grafts and plucked hair grafts?
I think something that has to happen is that more people need to be asking Hitzig to put his pictures up of his transplants with Acell/PRP plus grafts of any type (FUT/FUE) and pictures of their plucked hair procedures because I think we need to see the kind of "robust growth" they are actually getting with these transplants and what kind of "autocloning" is occuring so I would urge you and other members of the site to politely post to doctor Hitzig and Cooley and ask them to put more pictures up, I find it very strange that they are saying and really backing the results they get with transplantation and Acell, so as a forum and as members we should urge them to put those pictures up so we have some more proof of what is going on.
And also pictures of his FUT closures to see if the scar is really gone and people are having full regrowth in the closure.
I already tried to get in touch with him talking about my willingness to do a CIT with Acell/PRP procedure and even try some plucking with him if he wanted. Still waiting on a reply, he might not want to do it on me. I have very advanced diffuse thinning in the shape of MPB but I have space on my temples and hairline that would prove to be beneficial to a lot of people if the procedure works so hopefully he takes me up on the offer.
Between us, I've talked to Dr. Hitzig as well and he recommends with my hairloss doing the Acell/PRP along with a FUT but he believes the healing with Acell is so good your closure is for the most part hidden, I think this is what he's still pushing to his clientele because of the higher yield in the recipient but hopefully with a CIT procedure with grafts dipped in Acell we could see a high yield and maybe some "autocloning" of the grafts as has been seen by Cooley and Hitzig.
