also The only thing I dont like about Minoxidil 12.5 is it cost a crap load of money -__-..but anyway im gonna use it for 12 months and post pictures as well...i will post a picture every 3 months..but wish me luck ! oan stay away from propica

Hopefully I could get some advice on my Pharmacy Dilemma. I've used Dr.Reedys 1 mg Finax for about a year and have been very happy with it. I order from Unitedpharmacies.com, and as their reputation proceeds them I was a victim of fraudulent charges. It's the only pharmacy I'm aware that has Finax and ships to the states.
So my first initiative is switch to a Prepaid Visa credit card, regardless if I use UPharmacy or not I'd be more comfortable using one with any Online pharmacy. I'm researching prepaid cards and user articles to see if and what can be successfully used with online pharmacies, overseas. I've seen claims you can but no useful details. I'm surprised their isn't a topic on this subject already. Does anybody use a prepaid credit card with their overseas pharmacy, or have knowledge on the matter? Please inform me.

Since a good portion of members vouch for Inhousepharmacy.biz, I think my alternative is switch to Finpecia from Inhouse. Their both Cipla so the option of where it's manufactured is beyond me.. Kumrek or Goa. Maybe a Finpecia user can fill me in on the deal with that..
Bottom line I'm just looking for a legitimate source for my finasteride, so I can avoid my bank account getting drained and having the "My online pharmacy scammed me" conversation with a bank rep again. If it comes down to it I may just bite the bullet and use my Visa at inhouse, I know they're reputable but UP used to be as well. Anyways, helps appreciated. Thanks

Big 3
Finax finasteride 1mg
Kirkland minoxidil foam 5%
Nizoral ketoconazole 1%

Hi All,

Many of you may have noticed Nizoral A-D has been under some kind of shortage for quite some time now. It's been probably nearly a year since I've been able to find any unless you want to pay $100+ to the scalpers (no pun intended) on fleebay or Amazon. I want to work it back into my routine. My pharmacist says it was taken off the market (he didn't know why) but he had a note in his system that it will be available again this September =/.

Anyway, I'm just looking for feedback from you folks as to what some good alternatives are. I can always get a script from my Doctor for the Nizoral 2% but I've read it can be kind of harsh.

What about some of the other keto based shampoos I've read about such as Revita and Regenpure or others? Any thoughts and comments are most welcome.

Thanks,

I posted a thread with a wall of text a few months ago about me losing my hair at 16 and buzzing it etc, but I just realized something. My harline is the same it was in september. Maybe a NW 2.5. If anything i actually have more hair now than i did when i first noticed noticed my recesion.

Could it be that i got some recession early, and then that it stops for a while? I'm thinking this could be the case, since my 12 year old brother seems to be heading into NW2 territory right now..

My dad started going bald in early 20's. He's NW6/7 now. His dad is about a NW5. My dads brother however is a NW2 at 50.

My moms dad died in his mid 70's with a NW2. My moms brother is about a NW2.5 at 53.

I've posted this same question over on "hairlosshelp".

Wondering how folks taking RU58841 deal with this. From the reading I have been doing it is not unusual to get a bad batch of RU. If you were having success with RU and received a bad batch, then theoretically you could come off it for months before even realizing. I would imagine the result would be devastating for your hair.

How do folks deal with this? Are folks on the boards doing random testing and posting their results?

Thanks

Regenepure - Efficacy, price, use with Fin...

Hello, good sirs.

I've been on fin for about four months now and, as I believe is the case with many people, I'm not sure whether or not it is doing anything. I'm certainly still shedding hair - whether that's 'healthy' shedding that will lead to stronger hair, I have no idea. I've also had minor sides but they seem to be dissipating by the day.

Anyway I want to start using a shampoo to compliment the finasteride. After extensive research I've decided that Regenepure looks like the best option. The only problem is the price - I'm looking at around 28Euros for the DR alone.

Questions:

1. Has anyone had success with Regenepure DR on its own or alongside a (cheaper!) conditioner? I can't really justify buying the DR and the NT.

2. This is probably a daft question but I'm going to ask it anyway :) As Regenepure contains Saw Palmetto, is there any chance that it will exascerbate my finasteride sides? Has anyone used the two together?

I think that's it. Thanks in advance :)

I am 4 months post op from a strip procedure. I have a few questions/concerns. 1. Is it normal to get a lot of large pimples in the recipient area? Will trying to pop them effect any growth? 2. I have some decent growth on the right side of my head but the left side is much thinner and in some spots bald. 3. The scar has been doing well except for one spot, this last week, it has been red and a little painful, hoping it's just a temporary pimple of some sort. Any help on these concerns would be greatly appreciated, as I don't have time to go see my doc for a couple of months.
Thanks,

Topical Growth Factors increases proliferation of human DPC presented at WCHR 2013@Dr. Nigam's

Dear friends,

We plant to start mini clinical trial based on below study presented at WCHR 2013 in the month of June 2013, at our clinic by sourcing topical Growth Factor in a gel form like insulin like growth factor, KGF , VEGF, FGF, MGF, WNT10b etc and to give it to 5 patients for 6 months and follow up the same from June 2013. I am already using injectable form of Growth Factor and inject them on Dormant follicle and inject them for supporting the implanted bisected doubling follicles in my present protocol including adding of growth factor injections with my Stem Cell injections & DP cell Injection in my pure HM protocols.

I believe lot of options for topical application will be available next year at clinic level by end of this year or next year.

Already enhancement & delivery effects of topical finasteride, other anti-inflammatory topicals will have a better delivery system since the Korean guy has shown Enhance effect on the transfollicular delivery of sodium fluorescein using iontophoresis and nano particulate transscalp delivery is a promising new scalp delivery system which will take a year or two to implement at a clinical level.

Hi, I already wrote that I had ordered dutasteride powder from China. Since I won't use more than 2-3 grams in the near future, I have 7-8 grams that I could sell. If anybody was interested, he can send me a private message.

I should add that 1 gram would suffice for 6 years ahead, on the standard daily dosage (0.5 mg/day). And the price is ridiculous.

But first, I will check, if it is legit. I will be doing a series of blood tests during the next weeks and the drop of DHT should be visible. I could also verify it in a reliable US laboratory, but it would cost 150 USD. So if you wanted a lab test, then I would have to increase my margin :)

As you all know, i had my HST almost 9 months ago and im pretty satisfied with the recovery, recipient area growth, cosmetic improvement, and donor lack of scaring. Now, ever since i had my HST I sport the buzzcut (grade 2 on top and 1 on sides and back, this has been my prefered haircut even before HST). I recently decided to let my hair grow just for a little change and i notice the transplanted hair is kinda sticking up a bit, while the native hair lays flat downward.
Anybody experinced that ? Do transplanted hair need more time to be fully mature and take the final shape ? Or the direction of transplanted hair was done different ?

You really need to ask yourself do you want to take medication for what could be 30-40 years. Would it be worth it long term for more hair or would it be better to plan something around having less hair. Pick up at least 10 books on the pharmaceutical industry and learn how studies are performed and some of what goes on. Once you have obtained that education than make a decision with the additional information you are now armed with and if it seems right than proceed.

Often times those that are taking medications will encourage others to do the same. They might be doing this without even consciously knowing it but people tend to form groups. So in order to be part of the group and for everyone to feel good about what they are doing they all need to be doing the same thing. So if your group drinks heavily, overeats, uses heroin whatever chances are they will unconsciously encourage you to do the same. This is why sometimes you have to drop long time friends or those that are not good for you in order to move forward unless of course you can think outside of the group while still being part of the group.

The point here is that the more people tell you to go ahead and take the medication the more likely you will and the more that tell you to use caution the more likely you will use caution. Really the best approach is to pick up those 10 books and find out for yourself.
