I think a prescription is required for 2% although I have never been asked for one when I have taken it to the counter in the UK. Either way there is minimal difference with the 1%(if any) so that will do fine. My hair is great right now, I have not lost any ground at all since I started almost two years ago

Yeah I regained some of my recently lost hair at the temples and overall the quality and thickness of my hair seemed to improve. I also have not lost any hair since I started it and my hairloss was fairly aggressive so I thought. At first I experienced some mild side effects but I think most of these were in my head and they went after a couple of months.You should get on Nizoral shampoo or one with ketoconazole in it also. Let me know if you need any more help man
