I bought the shampoo and opted for the Ultra as opposed to the Sercomplex. They recommend using the shampoo in conjunction with whatever treatment you choose.

I understand the Ultra is recommended for peopled aged 30+, but I am easily a NW2.5 going on NW3, and it recommends the Ultra for NW3.

I'm only 20 years old, but in my mind the Ultra seemed better suited for my situation.

Just wanted to address to you a possible alternative to finasteride which I stumbled upon (and am currently using).

It is a topical [sitosterol-based] 5-ard enzyme inhibitor called Keratene. Basically beta-sitosterol applied locally to the scalp.
