I'm delighted for you. You're going to have a great result. It's fantastic what Dr. Feriduni can do for you. I had a look back at my comments about what I thougt you could expect density wise and donor wise and it looks like Dr Feriduni will far exceed that. Great to know he can pull big numbers over a lifetime. I remember seeing a writeup on his practice last year and they were astounded at his mastery of FUE and how he could do such big sessions. He's no. 1 on my list should I go for it in a few years.

I've always had a good feeling about his practice from everything I've seen and read. He seems a particularly generous person considering he does 1 pro bono every month, has restored many burn victims and charges a very fair price for his FUE compared with some of the other top FUE docs. He is also very forth coming with the details of every case they display online and yet they don't feel the need to overmarket themselves like some of the sales type clinics.

Let's say worst case scenario yo go to nw6 and about 240cm2 of scalp devoid of native hair. If you assume 19,000 FU in the donor and you take 6,000 over maybe 3 procedures you could attack the first 140cm2 and it would look amazing. You may even have the option of eeking out another 2000 for the crown to sprinkle in to the 100cm2 of the crown. Who knows maybe Acell and plucking or Histogen, Replicel or Aderans could tackle the crown way down the line (the meds seems to work best on the crown as it is). Anyways at this point your crown looks very solid so you might be able to stay well ahead of your hair loss for a long time. Frontal third and mid scalp all the way. You should be very happy.

Dr. Feriduni is exceptional at FUE. I like the way he does the temple points too which makes it look very natural. I think you could have a very nice result with 2000-2500 FUE. Your lateral humps look high and solid. I'd never want to get a smiley face scar myself so I think FUE is definitely the way to go. Ensure that you go for good density up front, even at the expense of the crown somewhat in the long run.

If I had to guess Dr. Feriduni can give you 50-55 FU/cm2 of 1s in the feather zone (hairline) and 55-60ish in the oval behind; the density zone. The good density Dr. Feriduni gives allows some nice hairstyles. He can give young looking results. I wouldn't settle for a side shingling comboverish job just to have enough for the crown.

At this point, given that perhaps 10 years from now there will be more options, FUE still seems the best method to pursue. If you only tackle the first 140-150cm2 of scalp over say 2 procedures it is preferable to being slick bald or doing FUT.

I have booked a 2000-2500 FUE session with Feriduni after some great info from him, but mainly based on that it seems he has few or no dissatisfied clients (that I could find at least) and many nice outcomes especially on FUE above 1500.

I have some thinning in mid scalp and little in crown, but when its new washed (not the case here :-) you basically cannot see it. Also proscar 1.25mg and rogaine in crown has helped alot.
