November 6th - Temples

Went in on November 6, 2007 for one last time. Got into Vancouver a few days early, so I could hang with the boys for a couple days and have time to relax before and after surgery. We started at about 11:30am and the strip gave us 671 grafts. 366 singles and 305 doubles. I made it clear to give the temples first priority, and when we were drawing them up the day before to get an idea just what should be the priority , crown or temples...the answer seemed obvious. We place all 671 grafts on both sides and I'm not disappointed one bit that the crown couldn't get any fill. To be honest, coming from where I did....my crown is more than fine. Anna placed all the grafts and I have to tell you, she is such a sweetheart. A one of a kind REALLY! The Hasson & Wong clinic are lucky to have her on the team. All in all EVERYONE was great. So, at about 5:30pm we were done and I was on my way back to the hotel...happy as a clam. Got me some grub, took my pills and watched TV until I was fighting to stay awake. Funny thing, I woke up about 4:30am....WIDE awake and feeling better than ever. Same ole' thing, got some breakfast, headed down for a shampoo and started out for home. Mike Ferko was as kind as always and invited me to stay with him the night before my flight. Rugger found out I was in town, so we're going out to dinner and chit chat about hair stuff....and maybe women. ;)
