Really, I’m a true blonde! Yeah right!
Ever heard anyone say “Blonde is my true hair color”? Well, that is not likely to be true considering that roughly 2% of the World’s population has true blonde hair. Of that, only less than .5 % will have platinum blonde hair. Natural platinum blonde hair is very rare, but we see it everyday. Yes, of course from a bottle.
The country that you most likely to find a natural blonde: America. Just kidding, Finland.
Blondes endangered species?: Yes, a German study says blondes will become basically extinct by 2202 because the recessive gene that causes blonde hair is so rare. However, blondes will not totally die out, but they will become even more rare.
Anyway, love it or hate it, blonde hair is a rare and eye stopping hair color! (ps: I love girls who have blonde hair!)

WHLP....science thinks men like blonde hair because it's a sign of "youth" and "health". For example, many of us have blonde or lighter colored hair when we are born and it gets darker as we get older. Not true of all ethnic backgrounds, but certainly among Anglo's. However, I don't think men really care that much, however, a blonde will ALWAYS get a glance from me...it just comes naturally.

I think we are talking about a preference that I am sure includes much more than just blonde hair, don't you think? Would you include a balding blonde woman in your glancing? Or should she have a full head of hair, great rack, stunning body and a gorgeous face?
Is it just the blonde hair, or could there be more to your preference to a blonde than that?
I can see how science might say that men like blonde hair because it's a sign of "youth and health," but doesn't that only apply to a very attractive blonde?

I see your point, but for me, blonde hair always gets a glance, then afterwards, I might say "no, not attractive to me".....however blonde always gets at least a glance.

It's has always amazed me what is attractive to other people. Some women do like very tall men, but I think everyone looks at a very tall man, as well as approaching him and asking "Exactly how tall are you."

Joe!!!! I don't in anyway think you are shallow! It's good to know what you prefer. I did notice that you didn't talk personality, BUT we were talking about looks right? I was just coming to the logical conclusion that it may just be a little more than the blonde hair. That's all. Attraction is a really important first step in finding someone. I also think that anyone who says that physical features and preferences aren't important is a freaking liar! Everyone wants to find someone attractive as well as being attractive to others...it's natural and not shallow at all.

Unfortunately Joe I'm not a native Marylander and while I do know how to eat the the 10 lbs of crab with newspaper down on the table "family style" and poured full of Old Bay, I'm not a fan of crabs that way. I do like crabs (they're kosher right? LOL) just not those little ones that you spend all night trying to suck the meat out of! LOL
