Hey guys, this was posted on here a while back but I figured I'd revive it since this looks very interesting. And I'd give my left nut for 18% regrowth! I contacted both of the doctors in the study, waiting to hear back from them. Not sure if this would work or not but I figured I'd put it out there. Check it out: http://journals.lww.com/plasreconsurg/Fulltext/2010/11000/Treatment_of_Male_Pattern_Baldness_with_Botulinum. 79.aspx?WT.mc_id=HPxADx20100319xMP

No problem, Rob. I've been exploring this route for a while now since I don't want to permanently scar up my head with a hair transplant. I e-mailed one of the doctors (Dr. Freund) and he was very nice and helpful, directing me to further articles and recommending me to doctors that would be willing to do this procedure. The problem is that I initially got confused with the photos. I thought the photos were of 1 person rather than a side-by-side comparison of two people's before and after photos. (The first person is illustrated on the top photos, while the second person is illustrated on the bottom ones). Plus, when they said an 18% increase in hair growth, I'm wondering if they meant an 18% increase in hair growth over the entire head, or an 18% increase in hair growth to cover up a bald spot. I think I'm gonna e-mail Dr. Freund again and ask him.

Because Botox has duh, SIDE EFFECTS? Like permanently killing off your nerve endings? Duhhhh?

I don't think Botox kills any nerve endings. The use of Botox is so widespread and I don't think it would be used so often if it caused nerve damage.
do you guys really want to inject a poison into your scalp? and even if if did work there would need to be safety trials.

This "poison" is injected in people's faces every day and they're doing just fine. Some people say there are no studies on long term effects of the drug. Well, since people who get these injections are usually in their 50's or older, who cares if there are side effects and they start showing up -if at all- when they're in their 70's or 80's ? Fuck the best life has to offer when you're 70. If it really worked I'd get it in a heartbeat.

My. God.
You also believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, right?
Have you SEEN those Botox monstrosities that happened after the average Joe went and thought they could look like Hollywood's elite? The reason they use it in Hollywood is because everything about looks there is fake, CONSTRUCTED and there's no end to the millions they are going to sink there to make it look right.
Just google Botox Side Effects. Come back and tell me it's all propaganda.
And sure, I'm all up for shooting heroin when I'm 70, but hey, let's be realistic here.
