View Full Version : No hair cloning in the near future?!

just got back from the annual ISHRS hair doctor convention (this year was in Amersterdam), and that very same question about cloning was asked to the experts who where on a panel that I chaired. The answer is that there is no cloning in the near future. I’ll write more about the ISHRS meeting in a future post this week.
My honest opinion is that cloning is still a decade away from being available to the public. They’re making progress, but even the clinical trials seem not to be working as hoped. If you follow message boards, some believers will tell you to give it another year or two… but that’s a moving timeline. I’ve been reading it’ll be available in “5-10 years” for at least the past decade. If you believe that someone has the answer, please let me know as it might just be good marketing hype.

Rassman is a ****ing ass. I bet he doesn't even know about Histogen and Replicel. Just look at his face, it's written ''crook'' all over it.

Hey guys its Rassman again i figured a way to get hair multiplication done this year with stem cells
This guy is a crook
Bosox that was a comment from 2009 don't put a quote up like that without an explanation. It just gets all the newer forum readers confused and depressed.

No that was actually funny because today Rassman would cut his arm off before making such statements

I didn't notice the date, I apologize.
While I believe Dr. Rassman is way too intrenched in his ways I think bashing him all the time probably scares away a lot of the good doctors who have a great deal of knowledge to offer us.

And this is coming from a guy who offers head tattooing as a potential solution for hair loss. Of course he's not gonna be optimistic about hair cloning since it wouldn't be in his best interest to do so. If he says hair cloning is a decade away, then more people are less inclined to wait for new treatments and come into his office for a hair transplant.

That doctor looks like he has a dick up his ass. Just saying, I can't stop laughing.
Nice trolling OP.
Let's face it Dr. Farjo is an associate of Dr. Rassman
(his picture and a link to is UK site is even featured on the Balding Blog)
I just wonder why a lot of the doctors can't share their knowledge with one another to move hair restoration to a higher level.
Can any of the doctors answer this. It seems If they could put egos aside we all might be better off.

Ok i start a BET.
I bet that Rassman is right now copying Gho, then he gves his collegues the order to tell everyone "ohhhh HM is unavailable" and next year he says he invented HM.

doesnt have to do with egos as much as it has to do with money
every patient they get is another couple thousand bucks in their pocket... why would rassman admit someone else has a superior technique especially if he isn't offering it...
follow the money this is real life not fantasy land
I'm not living in a fantasy land. Plenty of doctors specializing in hair restoration share knowledge. Doctor's Cooley and Hitzig have, and something might come of it. Dr. Greco shares a lot of his expertise in PRP with other doctors as well.
It's a valid question directed at the DOCTORS! on this forum.
I'm not a big fan of Dr. Rassman but he doesn't even bother with this forum.
Let's face it he's made himself an easy target with his blog.
Perhaps if everyone wasn't slamming or demanding @#$%ing daily updates from the doctors that do come here. They might take us a seriously.

Rassman bashed FUE = FAIL
Rassman sells tattoos = FAIL
Rassman dismisses every HM related stuff = FAIL
Snow is white but Rassman says its pink = FAIL
Rassmans Blog = Semi FAIL
We all get it no one here likes him he is not the last word on hair restoration.
Let's forget him and support younger doctors who are willing to at least explore the possibilities of innovative treatments. Bashing him is not going to make the cure come any faster.
Nor is worshiping Dr. Gho before he has proved his technique in a peer reviewed setting. I have watched the videos on his site and am still not 100% convinced. like I said if it's real I will sign up tomorrow. Will anybody here make that same commitment today with what we presently know about the procedure?
