Bristol Myers/Squibb is conducting a nationwide study to determine the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication for male pattern hair loss. They are recruiting patients for this trial in several cities across the country...In this study, the medication will be applied to the surface of the scalp for a duration of 30 weeks with monthly visits to a dermatologist. It is being conducted from several states across the nation, and they would like volunteers who qualify to fill out the form below regarding being a part of the study. This compound is chemically similar to Minoxidil (Rogaine) in that it works by opening ion channels within cells. However, the compound being tested has been shown to be 1000 times stronger than Minoxidil as a channel opener / potential hair growth stimulant.

Are there any news about them, this article was from 2007 or 2008.

I would love to know where you found that article..

I did quiet a thorough search of their site and couldn't find anything on it.. my impression was that they deal with diseases and MPB isn't considered a disease..

My opinion even if they were conducting some type of research.. it probably bombed out..

It's from hair loss talk, under clinical trials.
I also emailed japanese company R-Tech that are developing new drug, they're in phase 2b, about their results and they responded that can't right now.

Does someone know name of company which is also doing research on AA, woman in video said they were able to grow hair on human, only it was grey and it would take couple months to reach it's natural color?

It is, just people dont want to accept it is, and i think people should start refering to it as one.;

a disordered or incorrectly functioning organ, part, structure, or system of the body resulting from the effect of genetic or developmental errors, infection, poisons, nutritional deficiency or imbalance, toxicity, or unfavorable environmental factors; illness; sickness; ailment.

Mpb is genetic...I'd say it falls under the incorrectly functioning organ system due to genetic error category :D

I prefer to look it as a disorder - let's be honest, you're still healthy even with MPB - unless there is some serious psychological trauma going on there regarding it.

MPB IS a god damn disease. It's one of the worst, EVER. It's more like cancer. Only thing it affects a person differently. It affects the the mind, the mental state of a person, and then it will affect them physically eventually, because after so many years of constant stress, anxiety and worrying the body will succumb. MPB is one SOB disease that fucks up your whole life and future. It's a source of constant suffering that never stops. It may not kill you but it DOES kill your life.

Like I said before, MPB should be considered a disability, at least in those who are seriously mentally affected by it because IT IS.

It's not just a disorder if it ruins your life and prevents you from living a normal life or pursuing your dreams.... In fact, it's more like a terminal illness. I'm sure you know that a lot of men live like hermits with virtually no contacts with the outside world because of this curse, especially those who are cursed with BDD.

I wanna file a lawsuit against SkinMedica for all the anguish they have put me through with their assault on Histogen.

Believe it or not but they were all done by different doctors except the last two. My first was a very small one of only 300 grafts by Bosley, which was a mistake. That's why I refer to it as a "half". I don't even count it as one sometimes. My last two were done by a very very reputable doctor here in Vancouver, canada. The ones before were done by another reputable clinic in LA and one was done by a doctor in the LA area too, which I wasn't really too happy about but it's not a doctor's fault though. It's just that I'm "blessed" with some curse from god that's causing my transplanted hair to fall out. Right now if I were told I had cancer I'd celebrate.

I have had two hair transplants and my transplanted hair is also falling out. After a 3500 graft fue procedure and a 4000 graft fut procedure to restore zones 1 and 2, once AGAIN i am almost totally wiped out! Pissed is an understatement! I have 2 questions for you 1) do you drink alcohol regularly? 2) did you have a vasectomy either before or after any of your transplants?
