View Full Version : Finasteride or Dutasteride?

From what I have read:

Dutasteride(0.5mg) is about 25% more effective than Finasteride(1mg).

I think that in itself definitely makes it worth taking over finasteride. But... is it worth it? How common are the side effects? Can someone comment on this?

Is it a smart move to jump straight into this? Or should I give propecia a try first?

Please give me advice. I am obviously desperate enough to buy it from start.

I plan on buying it from 4rx.com

Also guys. I think it is very important to know where you buy from, is 4RX.com trustworthy?

Where do you guys get your finas/dutas?

i use dutasteride. i have for 4 years now and it works great. i had some erectile issues early on, but they went away. don't freak out if this happens to you. wait it out and see how it goes. i have 2 other friends who have taken it longer than i have and they are happy with the results and haven't had any side effects. good luck.

Yeah, unless i get real good reason not to take it I will definitely get out the big guns here. Preventing and regaining hair is extremely important to me.

Hey bro, how often do you take Dutasteride? What your dosage? I recently beggining to take it but they told me 3 time a week? It seems to little? I was thinking of taking it .5mg a day? Did you try Propecia first??

it never stops working, but your mpb may get more aggressive making the drug less effective.

I would disagree with that statement. Most hair loss is stable I would have to say, especially if you are a diffuse thinner. Ive seen plenty of cases where the drugs effect starts to wear off. The body begins to become to immune to it. The only way it could get worse is if your DHT increases, which would be difficult unless youre taking some kind of T booster such as a steroid.
