But woulden't it be hilarious if this guy really had the cure and we were just too busy laughing at him?
Tell you what samusa, why don't you put some pics up of your progress and people would start giving you a bit of credability.

Caffeine does promote hair growth, but it's no match for DHT. Nice idea, tried and failed years ago. Still, better than Sodium Laurel Sulphate in shampoo.

You don't use Head & Shoulders by any chance? There is a theory that Ammonium Laureth Sulphate is even worse than Sodium Laurel Sulphate and I'm inclined to agree.
My hair loss began using Head and Shoulders - I have a hunch it triggered my MPB much earlier than it would otherwise have developed.

I use Body On Tap...
Should I switch? And to what?

I don't want to mislead you because I am no scientist! However, there are sufficient numbers of people complaining about both ingredients online to be wary of them. Certainly, I had no hair loss whatsoever at 19 and by 20 had had a huge shedding to the point that I didn't have much more hair than I have now; my hair always used to fall out in big clumps after using Head & Shoulders.
My hair improved and actually seemed to be regrowing when I used Revivogen shampoo, even when I didn't use the Revivogen formula with it. It was recommended by my cousin, who I had a lot of sympathy for because he was a balding barber! I have no sympathy for him now, as it seems to have worked extremely well on him (or he knows something I don't!)
Revivogen is my personal favourite but there are others. Johnson & Johnson make a baby shampoo that avoids all the harsh chemicals. Basically, avoid those sulphates mentioned before and I think you'll see some improvement.
Another little project I'm working on is Actistem. I have a hunch it's going to work rather well....

Hey fixedby35,
This was mentioned in another thread. I take it you purchased the TB4-7 peptide cream? Im seriously considering it and would like any feedback. From what Ive read on the Actistem site I am encouraged for someone like myself who could use it to thicken and aid maintenance. I'm also on the update list for the 10x product that they are trialing. Thanks

I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to do a comparison with Revivogen. If one of them works and one of them doesn't, I'm going to look ridiculous because I'm going to do my right side with one and my left side with the other!

I'm skeptical of both but I like experimenting. My scalp is no longer cosmetically very good, so I might as well use it for something useful like a lab.
Hopefully if neither works, one of them will have the good grace to shave another 10 years off my life.

=\
The best thing we balders can do is to test things and report back to one another, some stuff will work.

Speaking of which.
Which widely popular shampoos are safer than body on tap to use? I am clueless about this really.
When My brother was going bald years ago I was a teenager he used to drink tomato juice and blend it with milk and vitamins is smelled really bad, My thinking is unless you are deficient in something A vitamin or a mineral taking extra vitamins are really not going to do much good. I think the body only takes what it needs and gets rid of the rest, When my hair was shedding I increased my protein to 1/2 gram per pound of body weight took amino acid tablets cleaned up my diet lost a few pounds and the hair slowly came back. I used Head and Shoulders as well but I doubt thats what did it

Is head and shoulders good for thinning hair?
